About 20days back I realised one of my cars tyre has a bubble on the side wall. If you don't know what that means look here. I am supposed to get it changed asap but I haven't. Have driven about a thousand kilometres with it and I haven't really been careful with my speeds (for example I hit 160kph today for the first time on the mondeo, that also on a diversion ridden 60kph road ). A bit of a death wish cause lunatic driving doesn't seem to help cause either I'm a great driver or the car handles like a sports car...
This is one of those times I'm glad SJ doesn't read my blog....so that

Funny how things work...sister decided she'd like to start driving today as her office has shifted to the other side of town. In fact she even drove the Mondeo on Al Khail today (and kinda freaked out). Wouldn't want anything happening to her so will be changing the tyre soon... -_-
this is from a person who 1) Is an active car racer on Dubai Autodrome (so I know exactly how to handle a car) and 2) someone who was near death due to a bad tyre on 140KM speed.
i knew my tyres are 1 year old and due to replacement but everyday I say tomorrow or something makes me busy... on that day I was on 140KM on Emirates Road which is the allowed speed and I took an exit towards Al Kail Road it was a curved road however not at all a dangerous curve and with my car that I trust.. however, my rear side tyre burst at 140KM on a curved road that made my car twist 360 degrees 5 to 6 times and hit with full speed a lamp pool that literally torn my car engine into half!!! and sending it into flames!!!
I came out alive coz I was lucky having my seatbelt and the cockpit was intact... and I had a fire extinguisher in my car to put the fire down before the police arrive
I was lucky the hit was on the engine side not the door side or I would not be writing you this comment by now!!
Change your tyres this is seriously deadly driving with bad tyres
