Blast from the Past #1

I found a box under my bed that had some of my old toys. Most of the toys I had have either been given away to charity or have been locked away in some box. The last time I saw these, I was still in school, possibly 6 years back. So having bought a umbrella for my stand I decided to have some fun.

Basic setup: 430Ex on stand on the left shot through the umbrella at the reflector placed on the right.

is that a DoF blurred effect? or you blurred the image on photoshop? coz at f8 you dont usually get DoF effects... infact the shot should be completely focused not just the headlamp of the toy at f8

interesting shot.. it will be interesting to see more shots of old toys :D

I think I was shooting at 1:2 magnification. So because of that f8 isn't good enough to get everything in focus. I'd need something like f18 or more for that. So it is lens bokeh...

Will post some more later... :)
