Took this shot of the lamp at my sisters place with the nifty fifty...came out surprisingly well!!!Shooting Date/Time : 11/12/2008 11:54:07 PM

    thanks....the nifty fifty is a cheap low light lens that enables me take such shots without the flash or tripod...that is handheld....

    It has a wide aperture allowing longer shutter speeds than other "slower" lenses.

    you mean shorter shutter speeds but abid I think you're being too technical....most people can't understand terminology such as shutter speeds and aperture....

    thnk u 4 clearin tht....well dont worry ,stained i do understand wat shutter speeds,aperture n tripods r.....dont know the really hifi terms tht u photographers use....but am learnin....love photography...but wasn't into the technical side....until now

    erm...i didnt exactly mean tht i was gonna take up photography seriously...i dont have the time n im sure i cant put in the effort...but i do try n apply sum simple rules while takin a photograph with my very ordinary sony cybershot ...on my next trip...lets see if i can get a few good shots.....

    I know you're not going to take up photography seriously....all I meant is that if you like photography than you will take pictures (more than non photography liking people)...I would like to see those pictures....simple... :)

    I've got a cybershot and I know it can take pictures I can't with my camera...
