    Awesome frog shot!
I used to like frogs until last week when I saw a documentary on Animal Planet. I didn't know there existed poisonous wild frogs! *gasp

Thanks neel....I don't think you'll find any poisonous ones in the gulf...
Frogs used to be quite common in the northern emirates in winter in the dams/wadis, would be lucky to see any now!!!

It was a nice time to be in Salalah, wonderful weather!!!

Lovely pic. You take such amazing pis. I get excited with my childish attempts.
But your knowledge and all that stuff is awesome (listen to me I sound like a dumbo!!)
can you imagine I have never seen Salalah. 25 years in Oman and never been to Salalah.
    Shame.
But its a lot like SriLanka and Bangladesh.
Still the drive there is shattering.
Im glad you got to go and had a good time, and I look forward to seeing the pics.

Thanks kaya...my knowledge is still limited, lot to learn... :)
I don't know about SriLanka and Bangladesh but it seems to be quite similar to India also from what I've heard and seen in pictures...

The drive is quite daunting and best done in one go (with stops for toilet and petrol)

The pictures are taking longer than expected...hmm..I might just post a few now and make it a Salalah series of 2-3 posts....

I dint see any frogs while I was there, but definitely saw some humongous sized beetle like things!

There were quite a few frogs in just two places....
Was the beetle like thing blue by any chance....
I did see wasp like ants...huge they were!!!
