Rain

It rained at 5am on Sunday.....a sign that Winter is here. I hope this is a sign of a wetter winter ahead cause it sucks t look at all the dried wadis and dams...

These are not the best pictures possible but this is the best I could manage....need more practice...

    @ Abid: that's because a rain during the end of the year signifies winter. And we have about 3-4 months of winter in this part of the world!

    abid...rain does excite us...especially seeing how much it has reduced for the past decade or so. I've been here for 22 years and I miss the time when we used to have really wet winter and not these rain only once winter...and yes 3-4 months of winter is soo wonderful...it's almost perfect!!!

    jus 2 add my lil bit- abid, for us rain starved ppl.....it is a welcum relief from the monotonous hot n dry climate we have.....the same scorching sun evryday ...kinda gets to u after sum time......n like stained said its reduced in past decade...makin it a much more coveted thing...
    stained ...i really like the first pic....in the 2nd the rain is hard 2 make out.....i tried the first pic's effect wid raindrops on my car....but ne suggestions as 2 how 2 do the OOF thing?

    Zanzibar...I have a camera with manual focus so it helps...in your case try fixing focus (without pushing the button completely) on an object half a meter away and then aim at your car. Make sure your car is atleast 2+meters away from you...I think it might works...
